When I first started looking for a job, I thought that all I lacked was the number of questions, so I went crazy, hoping to make up for my lack of skills through the number of questions, but I always felt that I was missing a real breakthrough point. Although I have a basic knowledge of CS, I have never had any internship experience, and I have never really prepared for an interview. Initially I tried to brush up on my own questions and submit my resume, but the result was that my resume was brushed off in the first round, and I had very few chances to get an interview. I realized how difficult it was to find a job in the U.S., but I didn't want to go back to my home country, and my parents were pressuring me, so I was so anxious that I couldn't sleep the whole night.

Finally, I turned to my senior, who recommended the Drill Insight program. At first, I was just trying it out, but I found that Drill Insight not only helped me improve my programming skills, but also helped me modify/optimize my resmue and mock, which provided me with comprehensive skills needed to really enter a big company. Before in the school contact is the most TOY project, but in the job search process, I found that the TOY project written on the resume is very low, hr the first round of the brush me down, very lack of an industry project to improve their competitiveness, so enrolled in the TCS program.

When I first approached it, I actually didn't really believe it - you know, I'm still skeptical, “Isn't this just a marketing ploy?” I was thinking, “Since we're all here, let's experience it and see how awesome the program really is.

And with the all-English teaching, during the whole program, I learned not only programming skills, but also how to effectively communicate technically. A few months ago, I was still a little white guy who had a hard time even communicating in basic English, but through the program training, now I can express my ideas fluently and confidently, whether I am facing an interviewer or a colleague.

Especially in the interview, when the interviewer asked those tricky questions that I had never been exposed to before, I was able to answer them easily, and I was able to discuss my project experience and technology stack with ease. I was able to realize a career comeback.

After the course, I drastically optimized my resume and submitted it to several companies based on my mentor's advice. I got an interview with eBay and then put in the preparation for the interview:

The eBay interview was divided into two stages: the first stage was a technical interview, which mainly examined the basics of AL and data structure; the second stage was System Design and BQ, which assessed my communication and teamwork skills.

In the System Design section, I was a bit flustered at the beginning, but my mind gradually stabilized during the narrative process, and I was able to clearly analyze the problem and put forward a reasonable design solution. In the BQ section, which is my weak point, but under the guidance of Drill Insight's mentor, I prepared a specific STAR, and was able to accurately describe my experience and demonstrate my problem-solving and teamwork skills. and teamwork skills.

In the end, after 5 months of hard work, I successfully received an offer from eBay! I didn't have to stay up all night anymore, and I even went home before I was officially hired, so I didn't let my mom and dad down in the end. The next step is to prepare for the job ~ full of expectations for the future!
