Google is really hard to get into. I had to put a lot of effort into getting into their company. During the interview, I met an Indian interviewer. The key was that I worked on a Java full-stack project with a very advanced technology stack. They asked a lot of questions, which deepened my stereotype of them.

I started this project because, at the beginning of the year, big companies were posting fewer job openings. I became more anxious, as there wasn’t much on my resume. I worried about my future, so I found Drill Insight to learn more. After talking for over a week, I felt good about it and decided to sign up for the Java full-stack project.

When I first started the course, I found it very difficult. The content was dry, and I struggled every day. However, after a week of continuous learning, I began to adapt. It started to feel really cool! I first consolidated my Java fundamentals and then stepped into the main topics, such as CI/CD and microservices. In short, I learned a lot of mainstream technologies, which have been very helpful for my work.

I began learning in late January, and the course lasted 15 weeks. By early May, when most companies started recruiting, I was ready. The timing was perfect. I also had a teacher to guide me on my resume. The Java full-stack program offered complimentary job search services. At that time, I felt it was very cost-effective because it saved me time and money. If I had to find someone else to update my resume, it would have been much more expensive.
