TikTok Effect Editing team is seeking talented software engineers with experience in AI, CG, ML or AR to build the next-generation of effects using the latest AI technologies.
We are building the next generation effect platform with cutting-edge AI technologies, powering many important product features of TikTok such as real-time effects, video editing, intelligent content generation and interactive social experience.

Our ideal candidate is someone who is comfortable working in a creative environment. You will work closely with artists, designers and researchers to develop new capabilities in AI/CG/ML/AR that powers innovative effect creation.

• Investigate and build cutting edge AI features for TikTok's effect platform
• Build SDK that houses AI technologies and high-performance graphics rendering engine
• Design and implement software architecture and frameworks for camera and effect processing pipelines
• Profile and optimize real-time systems to achieve the best performance possible

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:

• Proficient in C/C++
• Extensive AI/CG/ML/AR domain knowledge and development experience
• Familiar with graphics rendering APIs such as OpenGL ES/Metal/Vulkan; has experience in shader programming
• Excellent spoken and written communication

Preferred Qualification:

• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science with 2 year of software development experience
• Computer vision knowledge is preferred
• Experience in performance optimization for mobile phones is preferred.
